Shelli Bertrand, Property Manager/REALTOR®

Shelli Bertrand joined our team in January 2021, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a lifelong connection to our beloved Fairbanks community. Born and raised in Alaska, Shelli has called Fairbanks home for over 50 years, making her a true local with a deep understanding of our city and its residents.

A proud mother of three amazing grown children and grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren, Shelli's family is at the center of her life. Her dedication to her loved ones is reflected in everything she does, both professionally and personally.

Shelli's journey into property management began after exploring various career paths, including sales. However, it was during her time working for a private investment group as their site manager that she discovered her true passion for property management. When the opportunity arose to return to this field and obtain her Alaska Real Estate license to work for Somers Property Management at the end of 2020, Shelli jumped at the chance. She obtained her Real Estate license in April 2021, marking a significant milestone in her career.

We are grateful to have Shelli as part of our team, and we look forward to the continued contributions she will make to our organization and the community we serve.

Kianna Rutiglan, Property Manager/REALTOR®

Kianna is a dedicated and detail-oriented professional working with Nations Management Inc. She has been with the company since April 2021, building strong relationships with clients and tenants alike. Kianna specializes in maintaining consistent communication and ensuring properties are managed to the highest standards. Her proactive approach to problem-solving and her commitment to client satisfaction make her a valued team member. 

Outside of work, Kianna enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Austin and her beloved pup, Milo, and embarking on new adventures. Her enthusiasm for life and dedication to her work make her a valued member of our team, and we look forward to her continued contributions! 

Valerie Smith, Property Manager/REALTOR®

Valerie is one of our amazing property managers. From the moment she interviewed with us in 2022, we knew she was the perfect fit for our team. Impressively, Valerie wasted no time in pursuing her real estate career. Prior to applying, she had already attended a local Alaska Real Estate course, demonstrating her proactive approach and dedication to her professional development. 

With a strong background in customer service and sales, Valerie excels in her role by handling tasks quickly and efficiently. Her ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment is a testament to her skills and work ethic. 

Outside of the office, Valerie enjoys nothing more than embarking on adventures with her fiancé, John, and their dog, Rayne. Whether they're exploring the great outdoors or spending quality time together, Valerie embraces every moment with enthusiasm and joy. 

We feel incredibly fortunate to have Valerie as part of our team and are excited to see the positive impact she will continue to make. 

Sierra Nations, HOA Manager/Licensee

Sierra Nations is our HOA Manager, bringing a unique blend of dedication, ambition, and linguistic expertise to our team. A proud graduate of Lathrop High School in 2020, Sierra is currently balancing her role with college courses at UAF, where she is pursuing two degrees in Business Administration and Foreign Language.

Impressively, Sierra is fluent in Japanese, a skill she honed during her time at Osaka Gakuin University for two semesters in 2022/2023. Sierra has always been drawn to keeping busy and pursuing her passions.

Sierra's journey into the property management field began when she obtained her Alaska Real Estate license in the fall of 2023. Since then, she has found fulfillment in getting to know people from all walks of life through her role as an association manager.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Sierra harbors a deep passion for traveling and adventure. In fact, she secretly harbors a goal to visit all seven continents—a goal that speaks volumes about her adventurous spirit and thirst for exploration.

We are thrilled to have Sierra as a valued member of our management team. Her dedication, linguistic talents, and passion for connecting with others make her an invaluable asset to our organization.

Sage Cahill, Property Manager

Sage joined Nations Management Inc in 2024, bringing a wealth of experience in property management and customer service. Before relocating from Anchorage to Fairbanks for this role, she served as an HOA manager, overseeing hundreds of properties and coordinating maintenance, resident communications, and compliance. As licensed real estate agent, Sage is skilled in navigating the complexities of property management with professionalism and efficiency. 

Her diverse background spans roles in administration, customer service, and team coordination, all of which have honed her ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced environments and exceed client expectations. Sage’s approachable demeanor, strong organizational skills, and commitment to excellence make her a valuable addition to our team. 

Outside of work, Sage enjoys connecting with her new community in Fairbanks, spending time with family, and exploring all that the area has to offer. 

Meredith Miresse, PM Assistant

Meredith has been part of Nations Management. since 2022, providing reliable and dedicated support in her part-time assistant role. Alongside her work, she is a full-time student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, pursuing a degree with aspirations to specialize in IT Cyber Security. Her strong work ethic and focus on both academics and professional responsibilities make her a valuable asset to the team. 

Kaylana Nations, PM Assistant

Kaylana recently joined us as a part-time assistant, bringing her experience as a former office administrator and a strong knack for organization and efficiency. As a full-time college student, Kaylana balances her academic pursuits with her professional responsibilities seamlessly. 



Her intelligence, adaptability, and attention to detail make her a valuable member of the team. Outside of work, Kaylana has a passion for travel and is eagerly preparing for an upcoming study abroad program in Italy this spring.
